The first Native-American owned juice plant in the United States

Yakama Juice LLC is pleased to announce that the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation has acquired the assets of the former Hi-Country Foods Corporation located in Selah, Washington.

Yakama Juice LLC is the first business venture by the Nation outside reservation boundaries and is the first Native-American owned juice plant in the United States.  The Nation feels the acquisition allows the tribe to expand its capabilities and become part of a larger community.

The Yakama Nation owns several businesses in the Yakima Valley.

The bottling plant has been refurbished and updated and plans to bottle under private label using updated bottling and canning equipment. We engage in Co-pack (contract) packaging as well.  The plant is capable of bottling various sizes of PETE, Glass Bottles, Aluminum Cans, and Steel Cans.  In addition to these packaged items, we also provide single strength juices in bulk and produce juice concentrates in 55 gallon drums. (See our "Products" and "Sizes" pages for specifics -- use links on the left.)
